Holistic Living to Me
Most importantly it's NOT about showing off or being perfect. When I do get caught up in the complexities of day to day life, it helps for me to read over these eight simple principles. I don't follow all of these holistic principles perfectly, all day, every day... but when I take the time to quiet my mind, something just "clicks" and I almost always feel a sigh of relaxation come over me, almost as if something deep within me says: "This is why you are here on planet Earth."
1.Eating minimally processed foods and
exercising to maintain health.

5.Striving to live in balance with nature and

7. Using connection and attachment parenting techniques
(through babywearing, breastfeeding,
non-violent communication and positive discipline)
to raise self-confident & emotionally stable children.

Living holistically does not mean you are a vegan, a vegetarian or a soy-lover. Solar panels on your home are not a requirement, and its okay if you don't have much of a green thumb. Best of all - it's perfectly okay to believe that butter is a health food and that granola and soy are not, in fact I highly recommend it.
